Large Items
Depending on the size of your order we deliver our products via parcel post or freight forwarder. Smaller parcels will be shipped via our Courier Services.
When the goods have been dispatched you will receive a confirmation of a delivery date.
Larger parcels such as climbing frames and swings are shipped with a freight forwarder. Delivery to the curb side will take place after an appointment was made by telephone. Usually, unloading takes place with a lift truck. In exceptional cases, unloading will have to be done manually, with which we may ask for your support.
Most larger items such as logs will be brought to site with our own Engineers. Trim Trail items will be delivered direct to site and arrangements will be made that one of our Engineers will be present to co-ordinate any unloads
Larger products like Gym Benches, Mats, Frames, Basketball units etc. may come direct from the manufacturer. They will notify Sports and Play Services of a delivery date and we will inform yourselves.
Smaller Items
The chances are that these will be delivered by one of our Engineers. You will get a confirmation date given to you for the Engineers visit. If you are ordering direct for spares parts these will be sent via Courier Services and will normally be dropped off at your reception.
Delivery Times/Lead Times
Delivery times may vary depending on the size of an item. If you order multiple items, the item with the longest delivery time is decisive for the complete delivery.
Large items such as Trim Trails can have lead times from 4-6 weeks depending on manufacturing schedules. This should be checked when the order is processed. You will always be given an estimated date of delivery when placing your order.
The manufacturing process of certain products can dictate lead times. It is always advisable to ask what the lead times for delivery will be when placing any order.
Charges
Although we can normally deliver to anywhere within the UK there may be enhanced delivery rates for The Highlands and any of the Scottish Islands. These will be determined at the order stage.
We can deliver to the Channel Islands although you need to remember that freight charges may apply along with any Tax requirements. Please ask when placing any order. International deliveries can be arranged. Please ask for further details.
Parts Delivery
If you require parts for products and you will be fitting these, please ensure that the correct part is ordered. Small parts, especially for Fitness Equipment will be despatched via courier. You will be notified of a delivery date. Sports and Playground Services cannot be held liable for any wrong parts ordered and you will be charged for these.
